After their appearance at this year's Anuga FoodTec in Cologne (March 20-23, 2018), Beko Technologies has a positive conclusion: "Together with our partner, the KIN Institute, we have the link between food and compressed air technology at our booth”. Norbert Strack, managing director of Beko Technologies GmbH, sums up: "It has been shown that many companies in the industry are not yet aware of the importance of compressed air preparation for the safety of food. At the same time, it has a...

Large amounts of heat energy accumulate in hot-regenerating adsorption dryers, which use the compression heat (HOC) from compression for desorption of the desiccant. A dairy has illustrated how this can be meaningfully utilised for production processes in the food industry.
This wholesale dairy concentrates in butter production, butter specialities, convenience products for the end consumer as well as market-oriented products for the catering industry. The dairy is a family owned business and...

Beko Technologies can measure compressed air to ISO 8573-1 class 1 of the ISO standards. This is extremely important for industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, automotive and many more.
When dealing with food, hygiene is the main requirement to guarantee the quality of finished products. During production, the pneumatic processes and the transport of substances require compressed air of absolute purity. For packaging, clean compressed air is indispensable for cleaning,...

The food industry uses compressed air in a wide diversity of processes. Some compressed air is used as general purpose air to operate pneumatic devices, controllers and sometimes as simple as blow-down air. This air does not come under the most stringent quality requirements. Other processes have the compressed air directly in contact with the product and of course this would be required to meet a standard typically 100% oil free and with a dew point at pressure of -40°C.

This is particularly important in sensitive areas requiring the highest level of hygiene and in which compressed air comes in contact directly or indirectly with products. The METPOINT® DPM dew point meter measures the dew point of your compressed air through relative humidity and temperature

The only way you can answer this question is if you have accurate data on the dynamics of the flow rate of your compressed air installation. The METPOINT® FLM flow meter provides detailed data analyses and helps you identify savings potential and provides the data for implementing sustained energy use enhancement strategies.
